Check Out These Videos

This is a vid of Colin Bell, winner of the G4TV American Ninja Challenge. Sasuke Fall 2007 was one heck of a tough challenge - only two people made it even to Stage 2 and they failed on the second obstacle - the Salmon Ladder. The Salmon Ladder will be one of the obstacles at METCON1!!

And here is the killer Salmon Ladder - Yamada here has only 3% bodyfat and is obviously immensely strong - but still couldn't finish the obstacle. Think you can?

Here is the SEAL BUD/s obstacle course - one of the original tough courses. In real SEAL training, you first get 15 minutes to complete the course, then 13, then 10.5, finally 10 minutes as the phases of training progress. Too bad these aren't open to the general public...

Prototype Salmon Ladder

Some obstacles are obvious in their construction and layout. But the Salmon Ladder is somewhat of a mystery. It's not obvious the rung spacing or the upright distance, nor is the overall height. I had to make one to get into perspective what this would be like. The only limitation that I ran into was the vertical space. Once in the finalized location, the ladder will be significantly taller than this prototype.

Almost Finished:

Yeah, yeah, I got a lot of cleaning to do, and most of it is already done. I'm also looking for an old mattress to cushion a fall (and they will happen).
The Salmon Ladder is almost complete - It will soon be completely vertical, tied into the ceiling and the floor.

Opening Date

Many of you have been asking, when will you open and where?

We are currently receiving requests for the pre-open promotional offer.

Once we have crossed a set threshold in sold memberships, we will finalize aquisition of a location in Ashburn. Progress will come very quickly from that point.

The anticipated opening for METCON1 is mid-April.
